New Issues

New Issues, often referred to as an Initial Public Offering (IPO) is the first offer of a company’s shares to the public. Such company IPO's and capital raising provide investors with the opportunity to make new investments.

IPO's have numerous benefits, including the advantage of buying the stock at its initial issue price, as well as the potential for exceptional returns when the market is steady and rising.

However, not all IPO's are good investments. They can be very volatile, over-valued and issued from small companies. You can’t rely on a performance history and they can be more prone to failing in a down market. As a result, it is very important that you have an adviser who understand a companies credentials in an opaque market.

At Molton Wealth Financial Services, IPO's are mostly traded by our equity team. As a Molton Wealth Financial Services client, we’ll give you priority notice of IPO's and capital raising, together with our recommendation for action. We will only recommend a new issue when we have done extensive due diligence often working very closely with the senior directors and the book runners. We’ll provide you with a prospectus or Product Disclosure Statement (PDS). This includes the issue price, the minimum application amount and who the funds are to be made payable to. We will also provide closing dates, share registry contact details and the expected allotment dates.

You can call Molton Wealth Financial Services directly on +44 (0)20 3874 4495 or email and request a call back.
